Our Future

Brother and Sisters,

2018 starts now, we all can not afford to be sitting on the side lines while the battle might already  be out of our hands by the time we get to 2018 negotiations. If this Illinois Billionaire Governor has his way and keeps pushing his own agenda of attacking working class families by taking away our right of collective bargaining. It is up to all of us to protect what we have fought for, to protect what we have earned, to protect our families. When did the word “UNION” become such a vulgar word, a word that our Billionaire Governor wants to make insignificant. He continues to push for illegal legislation that will take away what we have all fought and sacrificed and bled for. No working class family is asking for any hand outs, all we want is what we have already earned. Our Billionaire Governor continues to show Unions and working families across Illinois as the problem, as the enemy of the state. He deflects all the States problems on our hard earned rights and benefits. Yet he makes no mention of the increasing separation between CEO’s salary and there workers. Which is at a 500 to 1 ratio when back in the 90’s it was at a 40 to 1 ratio. He says nothing when CEO’s walk away with million dollar deals, while the working family is being asked to give more and give up their benefits for the bottom line.

GAS WORKERS, it’s time for all of us to be heard. We need to counter this Billionaires attacks by putting people in office that will fight for working Women and Men.  This affects all of us, it affects our families, our relatives our friends and neighbors. We all need to get out and VOTE, there is no excuse for any UNION Brother and Sister to not be voting for their best interest. We need to educate ourselves on the real issues and not be swayed by media propaganda. None of us are in the 1%, we need to wake up and stick together for the greater good and not let anybody try to separate us. The Billionaire Governor keeps distracting Illinois citizen’s by making Union’s his target to keep us fighting against each other, while he continues to push his and his Billionaire allies agenda.
